“Innovation is part of who we are as Coloradans,” Colorado Governor Jared Polis stated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new 115,000-square-foot Loxo@Lilly headquarters in Louisville. This event was marked by a moving testimony from a stage-4 cancer patient, whose life was dramatically changed by Loxo@Lilly’s pioneering cancer treatment, Retevmo, resulting in her cancer remission. Her story highlights the significant advancements in research and development in the Metro Denver area and its emergence as a dynamic life science hub.

With a rich history in the pharmaceutical sector and expertise in complex mechanical systems, Murphy Company was a key early collaborator in the Loxo@Lilly project. Working together with project stakeholders, the team engineered a highly efficient layout and an advanced energy recovery system optimizing prefabrication and innovation. This collaboration boosted efficiency and innovation and led to significant cost savings. These savings enabled Loxo@Lilly to funnel more resources into their lifesaving research efforts.

Over the past ten years, Murphy Company has completed HVAC, plumbing, and process-piping for over one million square feet of life sciences projects and is honored to collaborate with companies like Loxo@Lilly. Murphy’s commitment extends beyond construction to fostering industry innovation and progress, aimed at benefiting our community and communities worldwide.
